Take Part in a Fundraising Challenge or Organise Your Own Fundraising Activity

Set yourself a fundraising challenge such as a walk, run, cycle, swim, steps, silence or silly activity and ask your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you for Birmingham Christmas Shelter.

Alternatively, you could organise your own fundraising activity or event such as a quiz night, bake sale, dog walking, a garden Christmas lights display, gardening, garden plant sale, autumn produce sale, clothes swop, decorating or leafleting your neighbourhood in return for a donation to Birmingham Christmas Shelter.

Once your fundraising event is complete and your fundraising total received, we will provide you with a Certificate detailing the total raised.

Birmingham Christmas Shelter is opening its doors again during Christmas week to provide hot meals and drinks, entertainment, services, emergency clothing and a safe and warm place to sleep and place for those who are just lonely over the Christmas period, a time when the majority of other services in the Birmingham area are closed for the festive season. Sponsor a Meal or a Wellbeing Bag for a Guest at Shelter

Please Help a Guest

A £5.00 donation will provide a Guest with a Breakfast at Shelter, £10.00 will provide a Guest with a Dinner at Shelter or £20.00 a will provide a Guest with a wellbeing bag to help them survive the cold days and nights ahead when they leave Shelter.

Fundraise With Your Christmas Lights Display

Do you put up a big Christmas light display outside your house. If so, why not fundraise for Birmingham Christmas Shelter.

There are a number of ways you can raise funds for Christmas Shelter from your fantastic Christmas lights display

1. Setup an online fundraising page on JustGiving when your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours can make donation via Card or PayPal on your Fundraising page which then comes directly to us. This is a great way for people to support you who live far away or are not able to visit you personally.

2. Email our Fundraising Team for a QR Code which you can print, share with friends, family, neighbours or colleagues on email or social media or keep on your phone for anyone who knocks your door. Donations can be made direct to us by Card or PayPal simply by scanning the QR code which takes you to our web donation page.

3. Ask our fundraising team for a Collection Box and ask your friend, family, colleagues and neighbours to knock your door and make a cash donation, we will then arrange to pick up the collection box just after Christmas and let you know how much you have raised.
