We depend entirely on Volunteering and Donations/Fundraising to run our Christmas Shelter each year

Birmingham Christmas Shelter receives no public funding, has very low admin costs and has no paid employees. To operate each year, we rely entirely on time from volunteers and donations of cash and goods from individuals and local businesses. We are not part of the national Shelter charity and receive no funding from their fundraising campaigns. 

It costs more than £25K each year to operate Christmas Shelter and we would not be able to do this without your generous fundraising and donations of cash and goods.

Volunteer With Us

We need volunteers all year round fundraisding. Shelter for Christmas week requires around 250 volunteers over the Christmas period to operate Shelter over 5 days.
