The Shelter simply could not operate without its fantastic team of dedicated and hard-working volunteers.   Equally, many of our volunteers tell us that Christmas simply would not be the same without sharing this rewarding experience of Christmas.

 All volunteers are welcome – old and new faces alike and all volunteers must attend an induction session every year, which is held at St Georges Post 16 Centre. Please note that volunteers must be over the age of 16 to work at the Shelter (under 16's may help out on set up day and close down day when there no guests are at the Shelter, however).

 The inductions are informal and after registration there will be a guided tour of the premises by one of the trustees, a summary of  do's and don'ts’ and the chance to ask questions.

 Refreshments will be provided and there is free on-site parking.
