About Steve Love

Steve (or "Chef" as we call him) fell in love with cooking after his Mum taught him how to bake flapjacks when he was 5 years old.
At the tender age of 17, he joined the Royal Navy and trained as a chef, where cooked for up to 2500 and served on the Royal Yacht Britannia (appearing in the TV documentary "All the Queen's Cooks" in 2003). Also in that year, he won British Meats Development Chef of the Year and gained the Craft Guild of Chef's Development Chef Award.
After leaving the Navy he was the Head Chef at the GEC Management College and Executive Chef at the Royal Agricultural Show Ground, Stoneleigh, before joining Nestle in 1996 as a Business Development Chef. In 2006 he joined McCormick Flavour Group- Europe as Concept Development Chef. His responsibilities include culinary development for Blue Chip companies across Europe involving travelling around Europe, the Middle East and Africa researching food trends and culinary styles.
